School na scam” is a treading slogan among the young demographic populace in Nigeria. The notion which the slogan connotes is that going to SCHOOL is not by any means a way to attain high – stand in the society.

Evidently, schools are not only places to acquire new knowledge or learn new things, they are but also venues to discover one self’s potentials and where to put the raw potentials into practice through exploration.
SCHOOL. is beyond Homework? Assignment or Exam?
And how can you free from OPPRESSOR, without not learning the oppressor language?
QUADATRIC EQUATION, PANTHAGOREUS THEORY and FUTHERMATHS, yes, we may not need them in real life, but the mental code you gain by solving them, chapin your brain to solving life problems.
Another issue is majority of us see school as a where BOOKS are kept, which is wrong, SCHOOL is actually a place of learning opportunities
Although going to SCHOOL may not determine who make it in LIFE, but being, properly EDUCATED in Life increase chances of who make it in life.
But getting a degree in a country where graduates are jobless is USELESS
EDUCATION is beyond sitting like a robot and cramming a thousand pages of books,
EDUCATION is an avenue to find a real self,
EDUCATON is to expose us to life opportunity.
EDUCATION is the Passport to the FUTURE, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
It is true that SCHHOL has killed more talents than Poverty, because our education curriculum does not practically make students self – reasoning and innovators.
”school na scam” because the illiterate Emeka in the neighborhood travelled to Malaysia and returned with exotic cars? but trust me, there’s no reason to regret the four years you’ve spent in the SCHOOL.
Another factor which has let “school na scam” gained widespread among the young Nigerians is social influences. What moral do we expect of a society where people with academic minds are being ridiculed for pursuing dreams that is of no more relevant to success? Judging from the low employment rate which contributes to the poverty level in the country.
In conclusion Furthermore, guidance is necessary for students to understand the need for education and see it as more than just a SCHOOL , but a way of determining how such individuals will contribute to solving global issues.
So, until government takes absolute responsible to do the needful to salvage our education sector from shambles, there would not be confidence of secure future through it [ SCHOOL.].
The government should also provide the necessary infrastructure to aid proper learning and more scholars that are ready to not be just consumers but innovators.
