In the early hours of today, Yabaleft and other notable media platforms gathered reports concerning a ten year-old girl that was suspended after a school’s trip to Dubai.
Hours after the girl’s suspension, a video showing her mother was shared on Instagram by a social media influencer named Ubi Franklin. In the video, the mother said, “the school (chrisland) did pregnancy test for my daughter, threatened her not to tell anyone and later suspended her.”
According to the mother, her daughter was flown to Dubai for a trip where a ‘truth or dare’ game was organized among the students by the teachers. This truth or dare game allegedly made the woman’s daughter engage in “an immoral act” with another student and it led to indefinite suspension by the school authority.
When the school authority initially told her her daughter has been suspended, she did not get a clearer picture until she made her personal findings. As it stands, the mother is seeking justice for her daughter who got sexually assaulted during the school’s trip to Dubai. She said, “the school concealed the truth for a month before breaking it through a letter.”
