Nigerian music manager, Ubi Franklin has disclosed that
one of his colleagues in the entertainment industry is the
owner of Dowen College, Lekki.
Ubi made this known in a post shared on his official
Twitter page while seeking justice for 12-year-old,
Sylvester Oromoni who died from internal injuries after he
was assaulted by some students.
According to him, some of his colleagues in the industry
wouldn’t speak up because they are covering the owner.
He urged them to reveal the truth and seek justice for the
12-year-old.
His tweet read: “I know some of my colleagues or Abi
some celebrities will not speak up about this “Dowen
college matter because one of our colleague is the owner
of the school. I have been watching your pages and I
know she is very close to you, yes you.
“Say something now, she might see our rage on your
page.We are talking about a 12-year-old here, what if this
boy were to be your son?”
Meanwhile, the Lagos State government has shut down
Dowen College indefinitely in order to carry out
investigation.
Sylvester Oromoni’s death became public knowledge after
a family member, identified as Perri, on Thursday posted
on social media about the incident.
However, Dowen College Principal, Mrs. Adebisi Layiwola,
in a statement denied any form of bullying or attack on the
student.
